    * Students accepted as presentors are expected to pay either the Member (or the Non-Member) rate, as university-supported attendees.

    ** - The No-Frills Pass has limited availability, and cannot be used by presenting authors. It is intended primarily for local attendees living in the SF Bay Area. It admits the registrant to all sessions and exhibits, but not to meals (two lunches, one dinner), and without the conference Proceedings. An initial block will be available; other blocks may be opened up at a later time. If you wish to obtain a No-Frills Pass, and none are currently available, please sign up for the waitlist, and you will be notified.

    Cancellation fee: Cancellations are required prior to May 30 for refund (less $50 processing fee). All requests must be in writing (email, FAX). No refunds after May 30. Substitutions accepted at any time.

    Applying for a USA Visa

    • For registered attendees (who are not speakers) travelling from outside the USA, you likely need to obtain a visa from the USA consulate or embassy in your own country.
    • To assist you, we can provide a Letter of Invitation. Please request this early, since it can take 2 or 3 months for your embassy to review your application and grant an approval.
    • First, please register for ITMC, so that we can confirm your payment on our server.
    • Please send an email to Michael Condry, Intel Corp, who is ITMC General Chair, with the following information:
      Your name; your organization (company, university); your business mailing address and city; your business phone.
    • Your PayPal confirmation of payment (the one emailed to you).
      We will address the letter to "To Whom It May Concern" unless you give us the name of an organization or person.
    • You will receive a PDF of a formal Letter of Invitation, suitable to submit to the embassy.

      Those travelling from outside the USA and belonging to a visa waiver program (VWP) participating country may not need to apply for a visa. Instead, please complete the ESTA online application and receive authorization for travel to the USA. Website:
